DBH contracts with community based providers to provide mental health services and supports. Contact a provider directly or call the Access Helpline. DBH certifies each provider to ensure conformity to federal and District regulations and monitors quality of care.

Mayor Gray to Host Interactive Community Conversation on Mental Health on October 12

(Washington, DC) – In answer to President Obama’s call for a national dialogue on mental health, Mayor Vincent C. Gray will host a citywide discussion on mental health on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Washington Convention Center. “Creating Community Solutions DC” will engage hundreds of District residents in small-group conversations to develop strategies to reduce the stigma associated with, and increase openness to, mental-health care.
