The Bowser Administration to Launch Healthy Minds DC, an Effort to Provide Resources to Parents for Children’s Mental/Behavioral Health

WASHINGTON, DC – On Thursday, June 14th at 10 am, the Bowser Administration and the District of Columbia Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) will host an event to launch Healthy Minds DC. This effort focuses on highlighting the importance of children’s mental health and the resources that are available in the District to help parents ensure their children’s mental health needs are met comprehensively. Healthy Minds DC will help to educate parents, caregivers and educators about behavioral and mental health conditions/illnesses and how they can affect children’s lives in school and at home.
