(Washington, DC) The DC Department of Mental Health will make the following adjustments to its Friday, June 11, schedule in light of the closure of DC government in memory of former President Ronald Reagan.

• DMH Community Services Agency will follow its standard Sunday/holiday schedule. Consumers of mental health services enrolled with the CSA in need of emergency care should call the DMH Access HelpLine at 1-888-7WE-HELP. Regular service will resume Saturday, June 12. 

• The DMH Training Institute will postpone two training courses originally scheduled for Friday, June 11, until September 2004. An announcement will go out to all the current registrants and the public with the new dates. The affected courses - "De-Escalating Techniques for Aggressive Behavior" and "Diagnostic Assessment Techniques of Children and Adolescents of Color" - were to be held at 2146 24th Place, NE, the Addiction Prevention Recovery Administration.
