Washington, DC—The District of Columbia Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) headquarters at 64 New York Avenue NE will reopen at noon today, January 28, 2014. Employees have the option of unscheduled leave.  The office was closed Monday due to a water main break.  All services were uninterrupted during the closure.

The 24/7 Access Helpline (1-888-793-4357) continued to receive calls for mental health services.  DBH offices at other locations remained open, including the mental health adult clinic and pharmacy at 35 K Street NE, the children’s clinic at 821 Howard Road SE, and the substance abuse Assessment and Referral Center at 70 N Street NE .  Emergency mobile crisis teams are operational and can be reached at (202) 673-9300.
