(<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>Washington, DC) Two DC Department of Mental Health Community Services Agency employees will conduct workshops at the September 30 Women and Girls conference sponsored by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Xi Omega Chapter and the University of the District of Columbia. Ruth Smith Landry, chief pharmacist, will conduct a workshop entitled “Drugs and You,” and Frances Alves, MSW, LPC, Clinical Manager, will conduct an interactive stress management workshop. Both employees are with the DMH DC Community Services Agency. The conference, “Sisters Sharing: Building Foundations for the Future,” will be held at the UDC Van Ness Campus, Building 46, 4200 Connecticut Avenue, NW. The conference promotes positive thinking, healthy choices, and financial well-being for women and girls, creating a sound foundation for their future.
