This bulletin serves as a reminder notice that the following services for consumers covered by one of the MCO Plans must be billed directly to the appropriate MCO:
- Diagnostic Assessment
- Medication/Somatic
- Counseling
- Rehabilitation Day Services
- Intensive Day Services
- Crisis/Emergency Services
Claims submitted to DMH for payment for any of the above indicated services for MCO covered consumers will be denied. These services should not be placed on the DMH Authorization Plan. If any of these services are submitted on an Authorization Plan, and a claim is submitted to DMH, payment will be denied.
