Washington, DC—The District of Columbia Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) headquarters at 64 New York Avenue NE remains closed for the second day, Tuesday, January 28, 2014, due to a water main break. Essential employees are required to telework. The 24/7 Access Helpline (1-888-793-4357) is operational and receiving calls for mental health services.
All other DBH offices are open, including the mental health adult clinic and pharmacy at 35 K Street NE, the children’s clinic at 821 Howard Road SE, and the substance abuse Assessment and Referral Center at 70 N Street NE . Emergency mobile crisis teams are operational and can be reached at (202) 673-9300.
