(Washington, DC)— On Saturday, May 14, 2016, the District of Columbia Department of Behavioral Health is sponsoring the Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day 5K Walk and Rally to raise awareness about youth mental wellness. Co-sponsored with other District government child-serving agencies, the Walk and Rally will promote available services to support children, youth and their families.
The event is free and open to the public.

Walk Route: The scenic route goes down Pennsylvania Avenue, across the Anacostia River, through one of DC's most beautiful neighborhoods, and ends at the Hillcrest Recreation Center.
Directions driving: From East Capitol St NE, turn left onto 17th Street NE.
